Trainee for CNIM:
Must possess completed Bachelors Degree. Train for the CNIM certification examination from ABRET.org. Gain the experience required to qualify for the CNIM examination. Hands-on learning and guidance in intraoperative monitoring during neurosurgical, orthopeadic and vascular procedures provided to the right candidate.
The right candidate has excellent communication skills, a drive for self-learning and is adaptable to stressful situations. Please review the ABRET.org website for CNIM requirements.
Stipend available. Requires a 2 year commitment. Ideal for future physicians/MCAT preppers.
Experienced CNIM
CNIM certified, with 2+ years experience preferred. Must have neurosurgery experience. Ability to communicate effectively with the entire surgical team, including instruction to residents and students as well as advising anesthesia staff on the effects of anesthetics on neurophysiological monitoring. Must be able to submit a clear, concise accurate operative report. Responsibilities include training, instruction and supervision of junior staff (trainees). This is an advanced postition. Applicant must be a strong neurophysiologist, ready to work independently during complex neurosurgical procedures.
