INTERNSHIP Summer 2025

Must be currently enrolled in a science related Bachelor Degree program and available for at least 3 months between May-September 2025.  The selected student will gain knowledge in surgical pathologies, anatomical structures and human physiology via coursework, lectures and participation.  Observation of surgical neurophysiological monitoring during complex surgeries and participation in the process leading up to the surgery will be included.  This educational opportunity will cover topics such as blood borne pathogens, HIPAA compliance and standard operating room protocol. This is an exceptional learning opportunity.  .

Experienced CNIM

CNIM certified, with 2+ years experience preferred.  Must have neurosurgery experience. Ability to communicate effectively with the entire surgical team, including instruction to residents and students as well as advising anesthesia staff on the effects of anesthetics on neurophysiological monitoring.  Must be able to submit a clear, concise accurate operative report.   Responsibilities include training, instruction and supervision of junior staff (trainees).  This is an advanced postition.  Applicant must be a strong neurophysiologist, ready to work independently during complex neurosurgical procedures.
